The Tear Drop Mug transforms a simple repeating form into a sculptural ceramic piece inspired by flowing water, desert seed pods, and organic rhythm. Each mug is slip cast from fine porcelain in our Arizona family studio, then individually glazed by hand using original Spines n Clay glaze recipes developed through years of testing and refinement.

The Toasted Mocha glaze layers rich espresso browns with warm cream breaking over the raised teardrop texture, creating remarkable depth and movement across every surface. Deep roasted tones settle into the recesses while lighter caramel highlights develop naturally on the high points during firing, giving each mug the warmth and character of handcrafted stoneware while maintaining the strength and refinement of porcelain.
