Tear Drop Mug – Latte Glaze

The Tear Drop Mug transforms a simple organic form into a sculptural piece designed to be enjoyed every day. Flowing vertical tear drop elements wrap the mug from top to bottom, creating a rhythmic surface that feels equally at home in the hand as it does on display. Each mug is slip cast from fine porcelain in our Arizona family studio, then individually glazed by hand using original Spines n Clay glaze recipes developed through years of testing and refinement.

The Latte glaze is inspired by the layered colors of a perfectly crafted coffee. Rich espresso browns rise into creamy ivory, with soft caramel highlights breaking across every raised contour. The flowing glaze naturally pools and separates around the sculpted surface, creating depth, movement, and subtle variation that makes every firing completely unique.
