Each mug is slip cast from fine porcelain in our Arizona family studio, then individually glazed by hand using original Spines n Clay glaze recipes developed through years of testing and refinement.

The Verdant glaze highlights every sculpted button with layered desert greens, soft ivory accents, and subtle earthy variation that settles naturally into the surface. Each firing develops its own depth and character, creating a living finish that celebrates the individuality of handmade ceramics. No two mugs are ever exactly alike.
